Nexxt - The new variety in decentralised ventilation
With the new Nexxt-E, LUNOS expands the Nexxt series by a device with enthalpy heat exchanger. This means that different Nexxt ventilation units are now available for a wide range of applications.
Function of the enthalpy heat exchanger
In the event of condensation, the enthalpy exchanger ensures that the room air is remoistened by the supply air. This has the advantage that almost no condensate escapes from the heat exchanger and ice-free operation down to the lowest temperature is possible. Particularly in winter with very dry outside air, remoistening ensures a high degree of well-being, as room air that is too dry is avoided, thus preventing the mucous membranes from drying out.
Also in the version with enthalpy exchanger the Nexxt has the usual high degree of heat recovery, which contributes to heating cost savings in winter and can ensure lower room air temperatures during the summer months despite permanent ventilation. All this with long-term hygienic operation.
The Nexxt achieves a heat recovery rate of up to 90%. The heat transfer takes place via an enthalpy heat exchanger or a cross-flow heat exchanger. The power consumption starts at 5 watts and volume flows of over 100 m³/h can be generated.
The Nexxt is topped off by a completely new operating concept. Placed behind an elegant screen, the control - when operated - provides a clear but subtle feedback by backlighting.
Heat recovery & control technology
The heart of the Nexxt is the heat exchanger module, which is available in two versions:
Nexxt-E: The enthalpy heat exchanger achieves heat recovery levels of up to 85 %. 73 % according to EN 13141-8 at 75 m³/h (reference volume flow)
Nexxt-K:The cross-flow heat exchanger achieves heat recovery rates of up to 80%. 62 % according to EN 13141-8 at 75 m³/h (reference volume flow)
The integrated control system ensures perfect interaction between the various components. Equipped with humidity and temperature sensors, the standard version of the automatic control ensures efficient ventilation with humidity protection. Other sensors, such as the CO2 sensor, can be integrated as an option, or integrated with the bidirectional LUNOS radio technology.
The Nexxt can be installed both under and on plaster. The installation housing of the surface-mounted version includes a stylish design frame making an attractive visual impact. The well-known 160 wall tube is used for the duct to the outside.
