The insect protection grille for the LUNOtherm range of façade elements has been developed to effectively prevent insects from entering the unit. The grille structure is manufactured so precisely without impairing the air flow, which is so important for optimized air flow. The grille is made of a robust, weather and UV-resistant material that provides reliable & corrosion-free protection even in changing climatic conditions. It helps to prevent pests from entering the interior of the device in the first place, which is particularly advantageous in outdoor applications or in areas with a high insect load.
The insect peotection grille can be installed not only during the installation of the façade elements, but also subsequently, even if the LUNOtherm models have already been installed. They are integrated into the LUNOtherm plaster frame with a simple clamp fastening. In addition to protecting against insects, such a grille can also help to retain coarse dirt or foreign bodies that could impair the operation of the ventilation unit. Regular inspection and cleaning – together with the air inlet and outlet areas, for example – supports the long-term functional reliability and efficiency of the system.
To ensure that the insect protection grille also matches the color scheme of the façade, you can choose between two colors for the screen – white and anthracite.
