The integration of ventilation solutions in the window reveal offers clear advantages when it comes to discreet appearance, high sound insulation and maximum design freedom. With our LUNOtherm façade element, LUNOS provides a sophisticated concept that combines ventilation in the window reveal with the requirements of modern architecture and efficient living space ventilation. In contrast to conventional outer wall ducts, placement in the reveal enables virtually invisible air routing that requires no visible grilles on the façade. This is a decisive advantage, especially for buildings with strict design specifications, such as listed buildings or high-quality plaster façades.

The soffit ventilator as a system solution

In combination with the e² heat recovery system or our exhaust air fans, the LUNOtherm becomes a complete soffit ventilator solution. The façade element takes on the function of air conduction and sound insulation, while the actual ventilator ensures controlled air exchange.

Soffit ventilation is particularly useful when external ventilation elements are undesirable or the external insulation should not be interrupted. By integrating it into the window reveal, a continuous insulation envelope can be created without compromising on air quality.

 

Technically sophisticated – architecturally restrained

It is installed directly in the window reveal. Depending on the wall structure and ETICS, the LUNOtherm can be adapted – both in terms of length and structure. The air flow is concealed by the façade element, which also acts as a sound insulation component. The extended version LUNOtherm-S+ or -G+ in combination with the 9/SD-LS module is recommended for particularly noisy environments.
