It combines modern design, intelligent technology and maximum user-friendliness into a solution that integrates perfectly into contemporary living concepts. As a logical evolution of the existing wireless system, it has been specifically designed to offer greater flexibility whilst enhancing the stability and reliability of the overall system.
Innovative wireless architecture for maximum security
Unlike traditional control systems, the ventilation units are no longer connected directly to the control unit. Instead, the Smart Remote acts as a remote control, communicating via a secure, bidirectional wireless connection with a central wireless control unit. The units are connected to this control unit via cables as usual – for example, via a wireless panel in the room or an RF control unit in the utility room. This principle ensures that the ventilation system operates autonomously at all times and functions reliably independently of the remote control. The Smart Remote only intervenes when active control commands are issued, resulting in a particularly stable and fail-safe system architecture.
Flexible zone control for individual requirements
A particular advantage of the Smart Remote is its high level of flexibility. It allows up to four zones to be controlled simultaneously and can manage different types of devices within a single system. This means that different rooms or living areas can be controlled individually without the need for multiple control units. Despite these expanded capabilities, operation remains familiar and intuitive, as it is based on the tried-and-tested concept of the Smart Comfort control system.
Convenience through intelligent sensor technology
The integrated sensor technology provides additional convenience. An accelerometer reliably detects movement and automatically activates the remote control as soon as it is picked up. In addition, a light sensor dynamically adjusts the brightness of the LEDs to suit the surroundings, ensuring the display is always easy to read – regardless of the time of day or lighting conditions. A conscious decision was made not to include dedicated humidity or temperature sensors, as these functions are already intelligently handled by the system itself. The relevant values are recorded by a master device and transmitted to the connected slave devices, ensuring efficient and optimally coordinated operation.
Reliability through a self-sufficient system structure
The Smart Remote is part of a well-designed overall system in which master and slave devices operate independently at all times. Control only takes place during active use, thereby avoiding unnecessary communication. This increases operational reliability and ensures the long-term stable functioning of the entire ventilation system.
Secure, interference-free communication
The wireless connection is bidirectional and fully encrypted. This not only ensures reliable feedback but also prevents multiple systems from interfering with one another. This is a key advantage, particularly in apartment blocks or densely built-up residential areas.
Sophisticated design and powerful technology
In addition to its technical capabilities, the Smart Remote also impresses with its sophisticated hardware. An integrated rechargeable battery provides a runtime of up to four months, ensuring low-maintenance operation. Charging can be done either via a USB-C cable or using the supplied wall mount. This is equipped with an integrated 5V power supply and charges the remote control via contacting spring pins as soon as it is magnetically secured in the mount. This ensures the Smart Remote is always ready for use whilst being elegantly stored away.
Clear status display at a glance
The status is indicated via a precisely calibrated LED system. A total of 15 integrated LEDs clearly and concisely display the operating status of the currently active zone. An additional RGB LED also allows for the display of further statuses and system information, ensuring users always have a clear overview.
