The wireless screen 9/IBF-RF from LUNOS combines state-of-the-art technology and intuitive operation in an elegant design for the living area. This inner screen for all 12-volt fans in the 160 series is equipped with an integrated power supply unit and the 5/UNI-RF wireless control. The integrated LUNOS wireless module ensures wireless and reliable communication with other wireless controls and wireless screens without additional cabling. The standard 5/UNI-RF wireless control with integrated humidity and temperature sensors, which monitor both the indoor and outdoor air, automatically adjusts the ventilation system to the optimum conditions and ensures a healthy indoor climate.
Installation is particularly user-friendly: a single cable for direct connection to 230 V, 50 Hz is all that is needed to ensure full functionality. The screen has a 4-stage push button on the side to allow manual intervention in the ventilation behaviour if required, as well as a slot for the EnOcean UNI-EO wireless module for smart home connection. The wireless screen can also be closed with a simple hinged mechanism.
Another advantage is the optional use of different filter types, which can be easily used to customise the air quality. In addition to standard filters that fulfil national and international standard requirements, extremely high-quality filters with filter classes up to ‘F7’ are also available. Filters that correspond to filter class 7 are classified as ePM1 55% in accordance with ISO 6890. ePM1 55% means that 55% of all particles larger than 1 micrometre are filtered out of the airflow under test conditions. F7 filters are clearly superior to standard filters in terms of filter performance and are particularly suitable for allergy sufferers and similar people. These filters, also known as pocket filters, consist of a very fine filter fleece and are able to filter the smallest particles from the air. They therefore fulfil the requirements for air filtration in accordance with VDI 6022.
As F7 filters cannot be cleaned, LUNOS recommends checking the filter manually at least twice a year - ideally even four times - in addition to any automatic filter change indicator, in order to avoid unhygienic conditions. For reasons of hygiene, these filters should be replaced after three years at the latest, even if there is no visible soiling. Used filters can simply be disposed of with household waste and do not need to be treated as hazardous waste.
It should be noted that these ultra-fine filters become dirty more quickly than standard filters, as they filter out and store considerably more particles from the air flow. It may therefore be necessary to replace the filter after just a few weeks if there is a lot of pollen or in regions with high levels of air pollution.
