The ego60-RF: With heat recovery

Exhaust fan with heat recovery

Supply and exhaust air in one device – the fans in the ego series use two fans simultaneously to ensure optimum ventilation with heat recovery in bathrooms, WCs and kitchens.

Special features

The ego60-RF utilises newly developed and more powerful ec motors, which increase performance by 50% to a maximum exhaust air volume flow of 60 m³/h. The improved aerodynamics of the blades reduce air turbulence and vibrations, resulting in even lower sound levels and therefore a considerable reduction in noise. Efficiency has also been increased. This model is equipped with an integrated wireless control including humidity/temperature sensor for automatic control and a 230 V power supply unit as standard. The ego60-RF can also be operated with a LUNOS wireless control. With an attached EnOcean UNI-EO wireless module, control is easily possible via the RC-EO remote control or via app. With the new heat exchanger, our ego devices are among the world's smallest, quietest and most sustainable decentralized ventilators with heat recovery in home ventilation in the two-channel device class.

Installation

As with the fans in the e² series, the ego devices can be used in new buildings and in renovation projects. They are either installed between the bricks in a new building with the help of a wall installation casing or retrofitted, e.g. in a renovation, with the help of a 162 mm core drill hole. The wall only needs to be at least 300 mm thick. The wiring is done directly from the control unit, which is installed in a standard electronic box or in the sub-distribution. From there, only six wires are required, which are supplied with 12 V safety extra-low voltage.

If a LUNOS exhaust fan type AB 30/60 or RA 15-60 is already installed, it can be replaced by one of our ego fans with heat recovery.

Approval

The ego has received building authority approval (in german) from the DIBt on 19 August 2021.
