They form the room closure of the wall ducting in the interior and perform several functions at once: they ensure even air flow, prevent dust and insects from entering, provide sound insulation, and blend harmoniously into the living space thanks to their discreet design.
The 9/IBE, 9/IBG, and 9/IBK models are designed to meet the requirements of LUNOS devices (especially the 160 series) & and thus comply with the standards of DIN EN 13141-2. Due to their streamlined design, they contribute significantly to the energy efficiency, indoor air quality, and operational safety of the entire ventilation system.
Inner screen 9/IBE - Standard model
This white inner screen is perfect for universal use in living rooms and bedrooms. This UV-stabilized model is made of durable plastic (ABS), making it impact-resistant and very easy to clean. The standard version of the 9/IBE has optimized slat and geometric shapes that distribute the airflow evenly throughout the room. The simple plug connection makes installation and filter replacement, as well as cleaning and the optional retrofitting of sound insulation modules, which can achieve external noise reduction of up to 3-4 dB(A), extremely easy.

Installation
The installation of our inner screen is simple and user-friendly. The filter frame and screen are inserted directly into the wall duct, our round duct 9/R 160. The inner screen must snap into place in the open position to ensure optimal functionality. This straightforward installation allows the screens to be installed quickly and easily. This screen is therefore not only functional, but also contributes to the aesthetic design of the living space with its classic design.
Care & Maintenance
To maintain consistently high air quality, all inner screens should be cleaned at least once a year using a mild cleaning agent. In areas with high levels of pollen, insects, or fine dust, regular visual inspections are recommended, and the filter should be replaced every six months if necessary.
